The Azerbaijan Grand Prix makes a welcome return to the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 2023, following a two-year hiatus, having made a name for itself since the first race in 2017 as both a fantastic race circuit as well as a terrific venue for discerning fans of the sport.

Adjacent to the Caspian Sea, the 20-turn 6.0KM Hermann Tilke Baku City Circuit is unique in its layout, with much of the lap dominated by the long – 2.2KM – run along Neftchilar Avenue to the first turn before heading quickly into the Icherisheher – or Old City – where the circuit tightens up and narrows significantly.
